Barbie dolls used to be manufactured in the Philippines by Richwell Trading. I do not have much background on why they stopped doing so. I'd rather not comment further.
The Fauna Collection was released in 2003 and composed of five dolls in the series. I consider myself lucky being able to snatch all of them. Although I sold some of my Philippine-made Barbie dolls because I wasn't able to complete them, these girls will be staying with me. Until I create a nice storage/display room, they will remain in their boxes.
