2013 Jollibee Dancing Doll

That adorable smile from a bee!

I have been collecting Jollibee dolls for quite sometime now. They release dolls every now and then and this year, it's the Jollibee dancing doll. I just couldn't let this pass so the other day, I made sure to buy breakfast from Jollibee just to be able to buy this.

As far as I can remember, the last dolls that they released were the Jollibee and Friends that's composed of 6 characters, and I was only able to get 3 of them. I will write about them soon. :)

This dancing Jollibee doll needs 3 pcs of AA batteries that you will have to install on its feet. Then pressing its left foot will make him dance. It sings as it dances. Kids will either get excited or some can get scared. In my case, I am excited.

So here are the additional photos:

For some reason, the pics rotate whenever I try to upload.

Messages

Last night after I wrote an entry, I scanned my entire page for my previous blogs and realized that I have messages on some of them.

I honestly did not expect anyone to message me and I am sorry for not being able to reply immediately.

It is  also nice to know that there are bloggers who are reading my entries and appreciate what I write. I even found some sites that used some of my photos, which I am thankful that they acknowledged.

So from now on, will be on the lookout of messages as well.

McDonald's Happy Meal: Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses

Back to the Happy Meal Toys again.

This Barbie set was released in 2007, in time for the Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses movie. Although here, there were only 4 dolls presented.

And as I mentioned before, I don't like how these mini dolls turned out to be as they don't look like Barbie at all. I refuse to accept the explanation that it's because they are mini-sized because there are a lot of dolls that are even smaller as these ones and yet, their details are precise. A reason would probably because of the costing.

So here they are:

Maze Girlz: Clone of Monster High

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Yes, and I have been busy scouting for items that I will be gifting for Christmas. This is the best time to actually shop because of the mall sales everywhere. When Christmas is near, prices go back to normal.

Okay, what I just said is an explanation of what I've been up to these days and why I have been awfully quiet again.

Now regarding my post, two of my latest purchases are these dolls. They are clones of Monster High Dolls. I stopped buying clone dolls since I ended up giving them away. However, these girls are on sale and they have better quality that the usual clone dolls. Besides, their accessories are too cute to resist. My other dolls can definitely use them.

I got them at about $5 each, which isn't bad at all, versus buying Barbie accessories that costs the same, and sometimes much higher. I got a good deal because it included the dolls.

Initially I have thought of giving them as presents. Apparently I was convinced that they should be meeting my other girls and will add variation to my collection.

I haven't taken photos of them anymore, but both of them are already out of their boxes.

Kiddie Bags

And I haven't written in a while again. Just been to an out-of-town trip that consumed my blogging time.I haven't had chances of taking photos as well the past few weeks.

So here I am again. Yesterday I went shopping for Christmas. Shopping is one thing that I have difficulty controlling.

What you're seeing here now are bags that I will be giving out to kids. Very nice designs and quality is not compromised.

McDo Happy Meal: BARBIE Stationery House

These are Barbie toys, aka stationery supplies. I am not really impressed with the figures because they are in no way looking like Barbie. Released in 2003.

The idea is to collect each piece and connect them together in order to create a Barbie Stationery House.

I don't have much to say, so I will just have to describe each piece.

Fashion Royalty: Lana Turner "Iconic" Doll

Classy, sophisticated doll. That's how I would like to define this Lana Turner doll from Fashion Royalty. Actually all of their dolls can be defined as that.

I got her second hand from an acquaintance I met through ebay (no original box, doll and stand; as is). You're seeing her now in a Dynamite Girl box. He was able to sell me a lot of Barbies and other dolls, which I have plans of posting in my blog.

I can't remember exactly on when I was able to acquire her, but she's definitely my one and only Fashion Royalty doll. I would like to add more, but budget constraints me in doing so. I think I have already mentioned my stand on that in my previous blogs.

She stays in the box as I do not play with her her that much. Since I got her, I haven't attempted to take off her clothes, especially her head piece. I just search through google photos of how she would look like if she's restyled.

She was released by Integrity Toys, limited to 1000 dolls.

McDonald's Happy Meal: Finding Nemo

The other day, my cousin was watching Disney Channel and showing was Finding Nemo. Then I told him that I have the Happy Meal Toy versions of the characters. So I asked him to find and look for them in the attic. Initially he only found 6, which doesn't include Nemo himself and Dory. After insisting that he tried his best in finding them, but he didn't see them. He even suggested that I might have not completed the entire set. And so I told him that I was so sure that I got all of them. Knowing myself, I would definitely have completed them.

Today, I asked him to look for them again as I was so certain I got all of them. And so my cousin scouted the attic again and lo and behold! Yes, I was able to complete them!

They were released in 2003, so that means that they are already 10 years old. If only they are children, they should be in school by now.

I definitely do not need to give further details about them as I am sure everyone knows them!

So here are their additional photos:

McDonald's Happy Meal: Rockman Exe

I actually didn't expect that I have this set, and I have even completed it. They were released in 2005.

I didn't know about Rockman Exe until about last week when I saw them and I checked about them through Google. So I do apologize if I can't say anything more about them.

It's just that they come with sort of chips:

These chips you will have to swipe in each toy for them to release their "powers".

According to Wikipedia, Megaman Exe is more of the Japanese name of anime/manga based on Capcom's Mega Man Battle Network video game. They are also known as MegaMan NT Warrior.

Without further ado, here are their additional photos:

McDonald's Happy Meal: Hello Kitty & Dear Daniel with Shinkansen

The Complete Set!

This set was released in 2003, so that means that these cuties are 10 years old already! It was the time when I was high in collecting the Happy Meal toys. It's great that I was able to keep them all these years.

The past few days I have realized how much toys I was able to accumulate. And there was this time, probably around 5 years ago when I have given away the small toys that were out of the packaging.

I like Hello Kitty, she's cute, but not really into collecting. Original items are costly, so I would just get contented with fastfood toys.

As for Shinkansen, I was really not familiar until I got these toys. By the way, both of them came out the same time.

McDonald's Happy Meal: Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus

I may be a fan of Barbie, but not to the point of watching Barbie movies. I have seen some of them, but I am really not too eager.

But I collect the dolls and the toys, especially from McDonald's. Although the mini dolls do not look like Barbie at all. This particular set was released in 2005.

I've kept them for quite sometime, but I guess not it's time for them to be taken out of the plastic packaging. And for sure, I will soon have the storage challenge again. And I should be anticipating the fact that they will be losing quality. I mean like now, I just got them out so they look so new despite that I got them few years ago.

So here are their close up photos:
